Into The Eyes Of God

War of Words

"As long as there are slaughterhouses, there will be battlefields." -Tolstoy

I speak mostly for myself and partially for those who bear witness to all great atrocities around the world.  It is in our hearts each day that we are saddened by another act of violence by the human race and the planet held in the palm of their hands. The levels of depravity and perversion that are acted out on animals in the name of science, warfare, food and entertainment detail a crazed state of thinking.  That human beings have lost their ability to see anything in an animal, other that it being a source of pleasure or flesh is a cause for deep concern by all.  Woman approximatley 50 years ago were in that same category.  But how quickly and easily we all forget.  Instead, it is acted out through future generations on a whole other set of defenseless and fragile creatures.  The horror about the clubbing of seals, is not only the complete lack of mercy and compassion for such a gentle new born, but the lack of grace and wisdom in the eyes of it's killer.

Renowned international philosopher and activist Dr. Steve Best was the Keynote speaker at this historic event. Dr. Best is Associate Professor of Humanities and Philosophy at the University of Texas, El Paso, USA.

It is becoming increasingly clear that human, animal, and earth liberation movements are inseparably linked, such that none can be free until all are free. This is not a new insight, but rather a lost wisdom and truth. Recall the words of Pythagoras, the first Western philosopher, who 2500 years ago proclaimed: “For as long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other. Indeed, he who sows the seed of murder and pain cannot reap joy and love.”

Ruth Harrison author of Animal Machines

"Family organization is broken and young animals are increasingly being denied a mother to turn to for comfort and for grooming. One of the saddest and most pathetic of farm practices - inevitable at the present time for the supply of dairy produce - is the separation of the calf from the cow at birth or soon after."

"In fact, if one person is unkind to an animal it is considered to be cruelty, but where a lot of people are unkind to animals, especially in the name of commerce, the cruelty is condoned and, once large sums of money are at stake, will be defended to the last by otherwise intelligent people."

I Am Learning That This World

Contains Both Animals And Humans.

I Used To Define These As Two Different Physiological,

Scientific Models:  One Called Homo Sapienes,

The Other Called, All the Others; The Animals.

I belong Not To The Hands of God Or Science.

I belong to the Land of Animals whom I Will Call Humanity.

Humanity is Something I will Define as those who belong to a group of

Thinking, Feeling, Loving, Compassionate , Kind, Helpful, Intuitive, Respectful Individuals Who Pride Themselves on Giving.

For a limited moment I Shall describe Love as this:

The Capability of Humanity to Withstand All Things That Interfere in their Belief that Love is the most important thing of all....the ability to heal through Fear, Remorse, Pain and Suffering.

The unspoken, unseen, mystical force  that brings humans out of Fear and Suffering and into a quiet gentle place, called  Bliss.

Love is for Humanity.

I now Define an Animal as a Being that being that lives out of Fear and is pushed often to it's Brink to find Survival.  An Animal is Capable only of Thinking of itself, not even it's offspring.  An animal is not cruel or vicious, unless it is backed into a corner.  An Animal can Not Speak.  Nor does it understsand the definition of Humanity's Love.  Therefore, an animal lives in a constant state of being eaten alive, of being left to rot.....it's instincts are based on primitive fears.  It's Ears are constantly pricked to the sounds of predators,  it's eyes continually opened, even while it sleeps for it is most vulnerable when it is at rest.  An Animal is a beautiful creature until it is cornered.

At any point the interfaces of these definitions can be switched.

A new description or a new label can be placed upon the ideal of each word.

The idea is that there are two groups of individuals:

One group is a group of loving, evolving, compassionate individuals.

The other group is a selection of beings or animals who are deeply entrenched in their instincts and belief's.

Who belongs to each group is not based on previous physiological or taxinominal categories.

There are certain primates whom I have met who understand themselves as humans, yet who fit far better into the category of Animal as I have decided to describe it.

There are those whom most would call animals who live in far more joy and love and rely less on their primitive instincts whom I would call Humans.  They are rightly so.  They are intelligent, mindful and careful of those around them. Respecting Nature and Respecting Mankind.

These Humans defy Human Logic.

Animals.
